Children's Ministry

Our Mission: To love your child.

Jesus said “Let the little children come to Me”...and … “whoever welcomes a little child in My name welcomes Me…” (Matthew 18 & 19)

At Amherst Alliance Church we strive to model our ministry to children after Jesus’ example. We are committed to love, respect, and value your child and to encourage your child to know, love, and follow Jesus.

Jesus said “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20a)

We take seriously this command of Jesus to share His love and gift of salvation with children. We then encourage growth in their faith through Biblically-sound teaching and programming. We are here to assist you in the most important task of spiritually nurturing your child.

Parents can bring their children to the designated pre-school classroom as they enter for the service. Children's Ministry staff will be there to assist you with the check in process. A parent or designated guardian can pick up children immediately following the service.

To help us assist you better, visiting families may stop at the Children's Ministry Information table in the foyer to fill out a registration form prior to the service.

SUNDAY MORNING KID'S CHURCH: GRADES 1-6

This program includes Biblical teaching and worship. Children are dismissed from adult worship service and have one hour of interactive lessons using stories, games, and music.

Our  programs are designed to work together to provide quality Biblical foundations where all learning styles are embraced. The programs provide relational, experiential, and applicable learning opportunities for each child in language they will understand.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT KID CONNECTION

This program is geared for small group interaction and instructional time in age level groupings. The goals center on fellowship and building community while providing Biblically based instruction. The program is highly active and ideal for bringing friends. It includes class time, gym time, music, and various activities.
